Re: WGSD vs Fence « Result #3 on Jun 22, 2005, 5:57pm »
none of my dogs go over a fence, not even if gate is open, teach them the right thing from the beginning and join up in obedience espescially since you will be first time dog owners, good luck
ps my dogs get on well with cats, sometimes a meter long rush after a cat but that is it and nothing evil so far
Hi, I am new here, just wanted to pop in and say hi I live in new zealand and have two white shepherds. white shepherds are not a recognised breed here so I get a punishment fee on my dog tax for having not neutered mongrel dogs!!!

HI, I just adopted Layla from the german shepherd rescue in Austin TX. DOB 11-15-99 female. She is fantastic, extremely well trained. Love her. I am looking for information about her past - especially the first2 years. Her photo appears on the American White Shepherd page of doginfo.com. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Jackson, MI (Male WGS) will be PTS tonight « Result #9 on Apr 12, 2005, 8:35pm »
Just to let everyone know, we were able to get "Nick" out (in the nick of time). We found out this morning, just before heading to Jackson, that they sell their dogs and cats off to research, so I am very pleased to have rescued this wonderful dog. He truly has a great temperment and is only about 8 months old.
Can anyone help us ASAP? He's out of time. I spoke with Jackson AC and they will not hold him. They said if he is not pulled by 5pm tonight, he will be PTS. Jackson County AC # is 517-788-4464.
If his eval is good and someone can pull and hold, we will arrange transportation to get him into a foster home
